Products remain fresh for a long time due to protection from light, air, and moisture. The exact shelf life depends on the product and conditions.
Freshly roasted coffee beans may need a valve because they continue to release gas for some time after roasting.
Without a valve, this gas stays inside the closed pouch. A coffee valve allows the gas to escape while preventing outside air from entering. This helps prevent the pouch from swelling and helps keep the coffee fresh.
Not every coffee product needs a valve. It depends on when the coffee was roasted, how long the beans rest and when they are packed.

Use a measuring cup and scale to determine the correct size. Fill the measuring cup with the desired amount and note how many ml you need. See the steps below for visual examples.

Standard coffee pouches cannot be vacuum-sealed. Reinforcement with nylon is needed, which is available for custom-made pouches from 10,000 pieces.
