What is the difference between ALOxPET and MET-PET?

Although both materials offer excellent barriers, there is a key difference:

ALOxPET is a completely aluminum-free, transparent coating. It provides extremely high protection against oxygen and moisture while keeping your product visible.
MET-PET is a metallized polyester layer. It has a silvery appearance and provides a very strong barrier but contains a microscopic layer of aluminum particles. For a 100% metal-free solution, ALOxPET is the best choice.
